If other conservative methods to resolve your ingrown toenail have failed, you may be suitable for a partial nail avulsion/deep resection (without phenolisation/chemical cautery).
When phenol (the chemical to kill the nail-producing cells in the nail matrix) is not applied, the nail will grow back.
This procedure is suitable where there the ingrown nail has been a short-term issue and simply requires a larger piece of nail to be removed, to allow the nail to regrow naturally without impinging the side of the toe.
The surgery is performed under local anaesthetic and a portion of, nail is removed. The pros and cons of this option in comparison to other conservative or surgical treatments will be discussed with you during your Initial Assessment.
The price includes the surgery, dressings to cover you for one week post-procedure (dressing the toe/s every other day) and follow-up communication by text, WhatsApp or email for up to two weeks post-procedure.
The toe will typically be healed within a few days and normal activities can be resumed within one to two weeks (depending on the severity of the initial toenail problem).

If in-clinic follow-up appointments are required post-procedure, these will incur an additional fee. Additional dressings can be purchased online here. Further advice by email, text or WhatsApp beyond the first two weeks after the procedure can be arranged via the online booking system and must be paid for in advance.
